Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town Nazim Muhammad Wasay Jalil has presented town’s surplus budget of Rs1166m for the year 2009-2010. The budget session was held at local hotel yesterday. Convener Council, Naib Town Nazim Shoaib Akhtar, TMO Shafiq Rehman, members’ council was also present. Town Nazim addressing on the occasion said that the budget was presented with the assistance and suggestion from Council’s committee. He said town administration would earn Rs450m from matching grant from Sindh Government, Rs470m from share of property tax from CDGK, Rs246m from own revenue generation of Gulshan Iqbal Town, etc. Town Nazim further said town has allocated Rs797m for the developments projects. He said for the solid waste Rs60m have been allocated, and for development for parks, playground and swimming pool Rs62.80m.
